April 28–30 – The 2026 Annual Conference of the China Gas Association (CGA) Standards Committee, themed "Standards Build a Foundation for Safe Operation, Smart Innovation Leads the Gas Industry Forward," was successfully held in Leshan, Sichuan Province.
As a premier annual event in the gas industry's standardization field, the conference brought together hundreds of industry experts, corporate representatives, and academics, providing a high-level platform for standards release, technical exchange, and academic discussion.

Setting the Standard: Contributing to Four New Industry Standards

Among the group standards released at the conference, Viewshine contributed to four key standards covering residential safety metering, pipeline leak prevention, and commercial smart metering – supporting industry safety and digital transformation. The four standards are as follows:
"Safety Shut-off Gas Meter – Part 1: Diaphragm Gas Meter" and "Safety Shut-off Gas Meter – Part 2: Ultrasonic Gas Meter" enable analysis and detection of abnormal conditions in meter status, gas usage, and environmental factors for both diaphragm and ultrasonic gas meters, achieving automatic gas shut-off for user safety and enhancing the safety control performance of the meters. "Gas Pipeline Online Leak Detection and Shut-off Device" specifies the technical requirements for online pipeline leak detection and shut-off devices, effectively preventing gas leaks. "Technical Requirements for Commercial Smart Gas Metering Integrated Devices" provides technical guidelines for commercial smart gas metering integrated devices, promoting the intelligent development of commercial gas metering.




Certified Excellence: Three Core Products Receive Safety Certification
At the Standards Compliance Test Certificate Ceremony, Viewshine's Laser-Based Household and Commercial Gas Leak Detector, Safety Shut-off Gas Meter –Part 1: Diaphragm Gas Meter, and Safety Shut-off Gas Meter –Part 2: Ultrasonic Gas Meter successfully passed certification and received official compliance certificates.

The laser-based gas detector uses advanced laser spectroscopy technology, offering high sensitivity, strong anti-interference, and fast response – accurately identifying gas leak risks. The safety shut-off gas meters integrate high-precision metering with active safety protection, monitoring flow, pressure, and temperature anomalies, and automatically closing the valve within milliseconds in emergency situations.



Academic Breakthrough: Two Award-Winning Papers
At the concurrent 2026 "City Gas" Outstanding Paper Selection, two of Viewshine's academic papers stood out for their innovation, practicality, and forward-looking vision, both receiving distinguished awards. "Study on the Economic Feasibility and Metering Adaptability of Natural Gas with Hydrogen Blending under Volumetric Measurement Conditions" closely follows the core direction of energy transition and addresses key challenges in hydrogen-blended gas metering. "Application Research of AI Vision Technology in Gas Safety Inspection" focuses on innovative pathways for smart gas inspections, empowering gas safety operations with AI technology. Both achievements tackle real industry pain points while anticipating future trends, demonstrating Viewshine's full-chain innovation capability - from technical R&D to academic research.

During the exhibition and networking session, Viewshine showcased a range of core products, including smart kitchen solutions, normally-closed commercial and supermarket safety systems, intelligent valve pit monitoring devices, pipeline network pressure monitoring terminals, smart gas flow meters, and an AR digital twin platform plus AR terminal integrated solution.

These products address the needs for precision metering and active safety monitoring across multiple scenarios, including residential households, commercial kitchens and supermarkets, underground pipelines, and public safety areas.
